I would definitely hold off on adding salt, only add to taste as it is perfect as is.
As a gringo, this spice level 1-10 is about 4 or 5.
Excellent flavor, can be added to any dish. Can’t wait to try the other salsas on offer

Hot water, salt, a blender and you’re ready to go. Really shows the many directions salsa can take and how dried ingredients can sometimes offer an intensity not found in fresh. Not better or worse, just different.

This chipotle version is my favourite so far but I’ll be trying them all. While great as directed on the packet, I played with the idea of adding the juice of half a lime with good results. Delicious right after blending but got even better with a little time in the fridge (overnight perhaps?) so the flavours had time to get to know each other a little better. Highly recommend if you’re on a deep dive into the world of salsa..
